Our estate Pinot Noir is a vineyard location cuvée. Matured about one year in older and used barriques. A touch of delicate and aromatic raspberry and silky tannin.
Cuvée Gaudenz QbA dry
This is a vineyard location alternative to Pinot Noir. Colorful Cuvée based on Cabernet and complemented by various other types of red wine grapes. International type of red wine with typical touch of black currant. Matured about one year in older and used barriques.
Großkarlbacher Burgweg Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) dry
(QbA, Spätlese, Auslese)
This is a classic wine from the top vineyard location called Burgweg, characterised by chalky soil. Matured 18 to 20 months in new or once or twice used barriques. Classic Pinot Noir style with a touch of raspberry and cherry. As still young it has got noticeable tannin, which allows for up to 10 years of stockage.
Großkarlbacher Burgweg St.Laurent dry
An old autochthonous variety of wine from the Pfalz region. In Burgweg it provides very aromatic and cherry-fruity mineral type wine. Matured 18 to 20 months in primarily new barriques, partly from oak coming from the region of Pfalz. Very good stocking capability.
Dornfelder *** dry
An established new breed. It was first planted in the region in one of the vineyards of Laumersheimer Kirschgarten in 1981. Black, dense and aromatic wine, which is matured 18 to 20 months in new barriques.
Syrah dry
Pilot cultivation since 1993. This classic wine from the Rhone area produces wine with pepper and herbal like aroma, which require some maturing in the bottle in order to unfold in full. The wine is matured for 18 to 20 months in new and used barriques.
